We spend donations supporting the UAF trail system. See the history tab for some of the projects we have completed. Currently we are trying to upgrade the chip trails with drainage and gravel. After many years the wood chips have degraded and no long provide a dry path.
We are also trying to purchase a new snowmachine for grooming the ski trails. UAF purchased a Sherpa machine that greatly improved the grooming. But when it breaks down the back up is the pair of machines that are not adequate. They overheat when they are worked hard and grooming is hard work.
There is a separate fund that supports trail maintenance projects done by Facility Services such as grooming. Below is a link to make donations to that fund.
